नानृतं ब्रूयादेष धर्मः सनातनः॥
Transliteration:
satyaṃ
brūyāt priyaṃ brūyānna brūyāt satyamapriyam।
nānṛtaṃ brūyādeṣa dharmaḥ sanātanaḥ॥
English
Translation:
Speak the truth, but only the truth that others will like. Not the truth that might
hurt others.

Hindi Translation:
सच कहो, लेकिन सिर्फ उस सच को कहो जो
दूसरों को अच्छा लगे। एसे सच को मत कहो जिससे दूसरों को बुरा लगे।
दूसरों को अच्छा लगता है - कारण से झूठ मत कहो । यह ही सर्वदा सनातन धर्म के नियम हैं।
इमान् तिलान् गुडान् भुङ्क्ष्व प्रेम्णा गुडसमन्वितान्।
Transliteration:
imān tilān
guḍān bhuṅkṣva premṇā guḍasamanvitān।
English
Translation:

Hindi Translation:
तिल, गुड़ और प्रेम से बने इस मिश्रण का

वाताटः वायुरज्जुभ्याम् आकाशं प्रति गच्छति।

गच्छत्यसंशयम्॥
Transliteration:
vātāṭaḥ
vāyurajjubhyām ākāśaṃ prati gacchati।
jīvātmā guruvr̃ttibhyām ūrdhvaṃ gacchatyasaṃśayam॥
English Translation:
The way a kite goes to the sky with
the help of wind and rope,
the soul also definitely rises up with the help of a mentor and disciplined
conduct.
Hindi Translation:
जिस प्रकार एक पतंग
हवा और रस्सी के सहारे आकाश में जाती है,
उसी प्रकार गुरु और आचरण के द्वारा आत्मा भी अवश्य ही ऊपर उठती है।
तिलवत्स्नेहमादस्व गुडवन्मधुरं वद ।
Transliteration:
tilavatsnehamiādasva guḍavanmadhuraṃ
vada।
English Translation:
Fill yourself with
love the way sesame seed is filled with oil, and speak sweet like the jaggery.
Hindi Translation:
जैसे तिल में तेल भरा हुआ है वैसे अपने
आप को प्रेम से भर कर, गुड़ की तरह मीठा बोलें।
भास्करस्य यथा तेजो मकरस्थस्य वर्धते ।
तथैव भवतां तेजो वर्धतामिति कामये ॥
Transliteration:
bhāskarasya
yathā tejo makarasthasya vardhate । tathaiva bhavatāṃ tejo vardhatāmiti kāmaye ॥
English Translation:
Just like the sun rises (brighter
and longer days) in Makara Rashi,
the same way we wish you health and prosperity!
Hindi Translation:
जैसे मकरराशी में सूर्य का तेज बढ़ता है,
