Maharana Pratap Jayanti
Maharana Pratap (Pratap Singh I) was the 13th king of Mewar, a region in north-western India in the present-day state of Rajasthan. Even after numerous attempts from Mughals, Maharana never gave up the fight to win back Chittor.
Today on his Jayanti (third day of Jyeshta), we celebrate and learn from his undying spirit of never giving up!
